Every Knee Shall Bow Free Tickets Get your free tickets for Every Knee Shall Bow beginning TODAY. This is a Lenten Musical that will be presented by Christ Memorial on March 9 and 10 at 7:30 pm and March 11 at 2:30 pm. All seats are FREE with reserved and open seating. Take this opportunity to invite the community. Tickets are available in the church office Monday through Friday 9:00 am. – 4:00 p.m. or Saturdays and Sundays before services. Patrons and Advertisers Wanted Become an Every Knee Shall Bow PATRON or ADVERTISE IN THE PROGRAM -- It is our desire to reach out to the community with this musical. There will be no charge for this event therefore we are seeking contributions to defray the cost. Valentine's Dinner The Senior High Youth Group of Salem Lutheran Church is sponsoring their 3rd Annual Valentine's Dinner by Candlelight on February 11th! Homemade Fettuccine Alfredo, Baked Mostaccioli, and Bread will be served with Italian Salad, Desserts, and Drinks. The cost is....Free Will Offering. Babysitting, Coat Check, and Pictures will be offered. Don't miss out! Reservations are for 4:00, 5:00, 6:00, 7:00, and 8:00 p.m. You may make your reservations in the atrium at Salem (between church services) or by calling 314.352.4454. Mardi Gras Mardi Gras Celebration 2012 - CMLC Library will be holding our second annual Mardi Gras Dinner and Silent Auction on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 6:30. The band this year will be the Funky Penguin Jazz Combo and includes CMLC’s own Jordan Woods. Tickets are $15 or a table of 8 for $110. Tickets will be sold on Sunday Jan. 29, Feb. 5 and Feb. 12 from 9:00 to 11:00 in the Commons.

Soup for the Soul Grace Place Lutheran Wellness Ministries’ annual Soup for the Soul event will be held at the Lutheran Church of Webster Gardens on Sun., February 26 from 4-7 PM. There will be over 25 soups, plus breads and desserts. The whole family is invited. Fill up on soup, have fun with friends, and help support a ministry that serves God’s servants. Meals of Love Meals of Love – Christ Memorial will be sponsoring a “Meals of Love” food drive during the next few weeks to benefit three area food banks---St John’s Lutheran in the city, Feed My People and the Concordia Seminary food bank. Grocery bags with sample menus for the meals of love will be distributed at the weekend services on February 18 & 19th. Bags will also be available in the Commons area during the following two weeks. The meals of love bags should be returned to the church no later than Sunday, March 4th. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 25:40---“Inasmuch as you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me.”

Luther's Loosers Luther's Losers continues to have great success. There are many from the class who have lost 20, 30, even 50 pounds! We would like the opportunity to offer this class during the daytime as well as the current class that meets in the evening. Dinner Auction-GPLS Mark your calendar for Friday, February 10, 2012, at Royale Orleans Banquet Center. Green Park Lutheran School will be holding a Dinner Auction. The theme for this year’s auction is “Rooted in Faith.” Forms for donations will be available in the church office or at the school office.

Pancake Breakfast Pancake Breakfast - Boy Scout Troop 584 will host a free will Pancake Breakfast in conjunction with Scout Sunday on February 5th from 7-10:00 am at Peace Lutheran. The menu will consist of pancakes courtesy of The Original Pancake House, sausage, coffee, juice, and milk. Plan to join us as we celebrate Scouting.
