Special Mission Projects

Christ Memorial supports several Special Mission Projects through designated gifts.  For 2003, these are the projects:

• Wycliffe Bible Translators and the ministry of Literacy and Bible Translation.  They are working in linguistics and teaching languages around the world.  Their funding is $8,400.  Wycliffe's Web site is:  www.wycliffe.org.
• The ministry of Steve Cohen and the Apple of His Eye Mission Society in outreach to the Jewish Community.  The Apple of His Eye Web Site can be reached from this link:
  
• The ministry of Rambai Keruwa in Bible Translation work in Papua New Guinea.  Their funding  is $4,000.  Rambai can be contacted by e-mail at:  mailto:bta-ukarumpa@sil.org.pg (Include:  Attn:  Rambai Keruwa in the Subject line.)
• The ministry of Susan Hasselbring in Bible translation is being supported in the amount of $800.
• Tom Kramer and his teaching in Russia in the amount of $3,500.
• Concordia Middle School, an urban St. Louis ministry, $2,000.
• Rev. Tony Boos and the Christian Friends of New Americans are funded for $800.
• English as a Second Language class for People of the Book Lutheran Outreach, Khuran Kahn, $1,000.
• Home Care Workshop unspecified amount.
• Impact Ministries, Bethany Schmich, $3,000.
