Come To Jesus

“If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.  Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.”  John 7:37-39

There are many thirsty people in the world. Some thirst for joy, peace, contentment, love, forgiveness, or hope. What about you, what are you thirsty for right now? Come to Jesus—believe in Him—and He will fill your life with every good thing (2 Peter 1:3 and James 1:17). That is His promise to you—a promise He has never broken.

Once you have received all the good things He wants to give you—once your thirst is quenched, then you are able to share all that Christ has given you to quench the thirst of others. Living in His love you can pass on to others the gifts He has given to us. You become a fountain—a source of living water—from which others can quench their thirst.

He loves us, so then we love others. He is good to us; so then we are good to others.

He brings joy and peace and forgiveness to us—we then bring that same joy, and peace and forgiveness to others.

His blessings flow through us into the lives of those in our homes and community. And we become wells of living water so people can come to us and experience the goodness of the Lord.

May He continue to bless us so that we can be a blessing to others. Amen
